Simon qualified as a Chartered Company Secretary (ACIS) in 1988 and attained his Fellowship (FCIS) in 1994. He trained as a Company Secretary with a Big 4 accounting firm having joined them in 1983, after obtaining a degree in Geography from Oxford University. He has over 38 years of experience in Company Secretarial and Fiduciary services. From 1983 to 2002, Simon provided Company Secretarial support to UK companies of all sizes, sectors and industries, both public and private, whilst in London. He relocated to Jersey in 2002 and provided administration services to a portfolio of Corporate and Private clients. Since 2007, Simon has provided Corporate and Fund Services to a broad range of clients and structures (including SPVs, LP/GPs, JPUTs, SPACs, and Listed companies). He has gained experience in many sectors including Real Estate and has assisted several clients through the listing process on AIM, the London Main Market and TISE. He was a Principal Person of regulated businesses between 2002 and 2021, including regulated service providers and a number of Jersey regulated funds/MoMEs. Simon is married with two children. He is a lover of American Football and supports the San Francisco 49ers. He is also a keen photographer but struggles to fully understand the extensive functions of his latest DSLR camera!
